I have been physically active from the time I was young. Actually, my mother said she had a hard time controlling me because I would run around the house and make her chase me everywhere (even after I got out of the duct tape). To stay fit these days, I don’t run around anymore, but I do walk as much as I can. Typically, I walk for roughly forty minutes a day on weekdays and two to three hours a day on the weekends. While I sometimes walk at a leisurely pace, I often walk quite quickly to get my heart pumping and to burn more calories. In addition, I go to the gym three times a week for weight-training. According to medical evidence, this can help prevent serious illness, maintain physical strength, and improve self-esteem. (It is like killing three birds with one dumb-bell). On the weekends, some of my friends recommend doing wrist and arm exercises. They say that the weight of a full beer bottle is suitable. Apparently and unfortunately, however, the air where they do these lifting exercises is quite dry. This leads to an extraction of the contents by evaporation and a need to repurchase more beer. I’m not sure that I should take up this form of exercise though. Not only do I suspect the efficacy of their training, but it would also require continual financial investment in new training equipment.

How do I keep fit? Like I said before on this site, I was athlete when I was high school student and I had trained over 15years. So, I have kind of habit which I always wake up at 05:30~06:00 in the morning. It means that I have lots of time more than the others. So, I have used this time to exercise. I like sports which I can do alone like squat, push-up, pull-up and MMA(mixed martial arts) which was my major because I don’t like exercising in a fitness club and kind of group exercise. Actually, I don’t know why I am still training really early in the morning, but If I don’t do this, I would feel sort of anxiety or something. This is the way I keep myself fit. The habit.

You do mma? That’s interesting. I used to be a wrestler in middle and high school. I would like to have done mma, but unfortunately, it was not available then. These days, I watch most of the UFC events.

I can’t imagine my life without exercise. I love various kind of sports. This is my secret formula for good health. I enjoy playing football, tennis, and table tnnis. After I enter university, I can’t do these regularly. But if I have free time, I spend most time to exercising.
In the case of football, I joined a sport club. And I enjoy playing tennis, table tennis with my parents. Recently, I have interested in longboard. I want to learn about riding longboard. So I’ll learn for myself about longboard from the internet.
Like this, I am addicted to sports. So I can keep my fit naturally. I think exercising is the best way to keep our fit. Because it can be a pleasing way. Also, it doesn’t arouse stress.

I agree that exercise and sports are a great for staying fit, especially if you can find ones you enjoy. Unfortunately, when you become older, the options for exercise sometimes become more limited. If you’re interested in longboard, I hope you can have an opportunity to try it.

I exercise regularly to keep fit. I usually walk for more than one hour a day, and try to use stairs instead of elevators. Addtionally, I love sports such as football, basketball, and table tennis, so I have been doing these sports since I was young. Especially, I have a football team, which plays football every week. It makes me strong, and I am always happy when I play football, because it relieves stress. Therefore, playing football is of benefit to me not only for physical aspect, but also for mental aspect. These kinds of exercise also help me to lose weight and be healthy. I think the most effective way to keep fit is exercise. It is easy, cheap, and interesting. How about starting exercise now?

“…benefit to me not only for physical aspect, but also for mental aspect”
I agree completely. I hope people who do not exercise enough realize how beneficial it is to both mind and body.

I was a winner of that tournament and became one of school athlets even tough my team lose in first game in the big play… Hoever now I am joining a culb which doing a kind of cheering sport team. To be a nice perfomance I have to practice as much as at least three days a week. It took about 2 or 3 hours per day. It is so hard that i couldn’t do any other exercise excapt the club activity, but I feel more healthier. Because I lose my weight and have higher self-esteem, this is the way how i keep my fit.

A badminton champ! Nice. I used to love playing badminton as a hobby after classes and at lunch time while in high school. But I’m sure you would run me around the court. I heard Prof. Yoon is excellent at badminton.

Before I did in military service, I sometimes did physical exercise which are push-up, sit-up and etc. However, I suffered from a backache in the Navy. After I have a this problem, I should not have exercised for my back. I do core exercise which reinforce my back muscle all day. In addition, my backache leads to the insomnia. Whenever rainy days are coming or few days without rain, I can’t get a sleep because of my backache. It makes me irritated. Therefore, I want to escape to this pain and I hope to cure my backache belong to core exercising which I always do.

I feel you pain, PB. Unless someone has had severe backache, it is hard to understand how negatively it affects one’s life and well-being. When people are young, they often take sleeping well for granted. I have had some sleepless nights from both back pain and neck pain due to sports injuries. I hope you can recover quickly and fully.

Since early years, I really liked exercise like playing soccer, basketball, and swimming. However, after I entered the university, it has no opportunities to exercise something. So I registered the gym recently. I am going to the gym at least 4-5 times in a week. In the gym, I exercise cardiovascular and anaerobic 45minutes respectively. Especially, as I exercise regularly at night, I tried not to eat anything after I exercised. Also, to be careful my health, I should take a break weekend doing everything that I want. I also would like to eat like a bird because all doctors say about eating sparingly is better than overeating. So, I should eat chicken breast breakfast and dinner day after day. In order not to stress, I could eat anything I want in lunch. It makes me fit greatly.

“I exercise regularly at night, I tried not to eat anything after I exercised”

I found that exercising at night, especially vigorous exercise, affects my sleep. Can you sleep well at night? I prefer exercising during the morning or early afternoon. Also, I enjoy carbs after a big workout. It’s my treat for hard effort.

Actually I live very far from my school. My commuting time is about 2 hours. To take a bus or subway, I should walk much time. And when I transfer bus to subway, I should walk much too. Even more, my house is on the top of huge and steep hill. I’m sure that the hill must be highest hill in seoul city. So every single day, I walk a lot of distance. The sum of step that i walk each day always exceed 10,000. Maybe that’s the reason why i’m pretty skinny. I think that small exercises in daily life keeping me healthy. Further more, when I stay at home, I try to keep exercise such as ‘push up’ and ‘sit up’ or something. Thanks to this small efforts, I’ve been keeping a low blood pressure and neutral fat rate. However, I think I should bulk up my body to be more healthy. So i’m planning to register a gym in summer vacation and exercise hard.

In my childhood, I used to play a basketball and baseball with my friends. I had entered baseball team and played several games with other teams. But since I entered an university, I couldn’t participate in gathering. I should have entered other team but there was no chance. So I work out in a gym recently. I usually do cardio exercise on the treadmill. I’m trying to go gym 3days a week at least but I already haven’t gone for 5days…..Also I try to do exericise in daily life. If I have enough time, I usually walk as soon as possible. And I cook, clean my room, wash dishes on my own because I live far away from my parents. Such houseworks make me keep a fit to some extent.

Personally, I do not like to exercise. Expecially, I try to avoid activity which becomes sweaty and tired. Instead, I keep in fit by walking a lot, also with my pet dog. In this way, I do not have to do harsh activity and become sweaty, and also keep healthy. Also, exercising with people I like is rather fun than tired. In this way, I can keep fit and enjoy time with friends and family. In these days, I do not have much time to walk, so instead, I try to do some yoga or house work in home. There are many ways of keeping fit rather than exercising.

I have a lot of interest in keeping fit and I try two things to keep it. First, I do physical activity like exercising and also try to walk or move my body as much as I can. I like to going to the gym and run on treadmill at least twice on week. Before I entered the university, I could go to the gym almost everyday but these days it became little difficult because I am busy for the tasks. Since I was kid, I enjoy doing yoga and I do a lot of stretching everyday to keep my body flexible and improve circulation. Also I try to get off the bus before one or two stations to walking a lot and go up and down the stairs instead of using elevator. It could help me feel more fresh. Secondly, I control my diet and try to not eat after 6pm. I try to eat more fruits and vegetables instead of fatty food as far as possible and cut out junk food like ice cream and chocolates. I always carry water bottle to drink and drink water a lot to give satiety. Above all things, I think the most important thing in keeping fit is not getting stressed to keep these ways.

It would be a trite remark, but I try to exercise whenever I have a free time and pay attention to the pose while walking. I don’t bother to go outside to a gym but I rather exercise at home. Getting ready to go out is already annoying for me, so I bought a yoga mat and started to exercise at home. I used to subscribe a fitness channel on YouTube but it wasn’t hard for me to memorize some moves, so I don’t even turn the YouTube on. If my body seems heavy or feeling under the weather, I grab a yoga mat, unfolds it, start stretching, and do some exercises until I sweat. Also, when I walk, I try to keep my body pose in right position and ask myself. For example, is my waist straight up, are my right and left shoulders paralleled, is my neck pulled out like a turtle or do I walk in splay-footed. It really seems nothing but walking in right position is important for our body. It naturally makes my abdominal muscles in tension. I think walking with my attention makes me to burn more calories than just walking. To sum up, I try to exercise whenever I feel under the weather or stiffed body, and keep pay attention of my body pose while walking.

Actually, my eating habit is not very good. I like eating meat, salty and spicy food. I hate vegetables and I love greasy food. I tried to change my eating habits, but it’s too hard to change at once. So, I try to change it gradually and do some activities for health. The first one is ‘Walking’. During the semester, I don’t have time to go out for exercising. So, I try to walk in daily life as much as possible. I have installed heath app and have been checking my physical activity. On vacation, I go to fitness center everyday except Sunday. When I go there, I don’t come out before I finish my exercise. I run about 1 hour, ride cycle about 40 minutes and do others in a day. The total exercise time is about 2 hour a day. It’s little bit hard but I think I have to exercise hard more than other people because I like to eat unhealthy food. Also, I don’t drink any caffeine drink, especially, coffee. I heard that caffeine can cause many disease and addiction. Not only drinks, but also I don’t eat sauces like mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard. My grandfather got diabetes so I abstain to eat food which have a lot of sugar. And I drink water habitually. I drink about 3L of water in a day.

I will talk about how I was fit because now I am not keeping a good eating habit or exercise. So 4 years ago I used to eat well and do exercises, even I was thinner then now. How?
I tend to eat fruits, foods which contain vegetables and I am not use to eat too much meat. For example in the morning before I eat my breakfast I must eat apple or other kind of fruit it is depend on which season and after one hour I take my break fast. For lunch I used to eat as much as I can but at dinner I like to eat light things like salad or cheese with some kind of bread which not contain too much fat and of course fruit. For exercise, I am not going to gym, for example my home is far from the bus station where I must take bus from it every day to go my university. So it is far around 30 minute or 40 minute I tend not to call my father as my sisters do to drop me to the station or take taxi I just go by walking and enjoy the weather and the views. Every morning I used to do some exercises for 15 minute and it is as simple as push up. For weekend I used to put music and dance I like to enjoy my weekends and dance is good for health too. At that time I was so healthy, strong and is so rare to be sick but now my body is getting weak and so easily getting sick I know all of this time I didn’t take care of neither myself neither my health . I decided to solve the things that are make me like that lazy as soon as I can and back to my real life that I always wanted it because it is easy to be healthy and fit . It doesn’t need money or time it just needs to just give it try.

When I was young, my dream was to become a professional baseball player. So, I was a member of school baseball team from the elementary school to the middle school. So I did a of exercise to compete with teammates. When I was 21 years old, I was a soldier of Korea air force. So I could keep my fit through a lot of training for two years. However, nowadays, I often feel that I am getting order; easily being tired and often hard to concentrate on something. So I eat some kinds of nutritional product like a balloon flower juice and a red ginseng juice, to protect my stamina. Also I registered the health club in 영통, and exercise around two hours, at least 3 times a week. I really want to have good shape body in this summer season, and I think I should do that because of my health.

My how-to-keep-fit has a long history. I heard that obesity is pretty much related and affected by genetical reasons. In my whole life experience, i think i have those kinds of gene exists in my body. As i saw by my own eyes for a long time, my father loves to lay down all the time, even he called to my cell phone while he was in living room and i was in my room so i went outside, my father said pass me the remote controller. The point is that remote controller was only like 1 meter away from him. Just like this, i am quiet in love with my bad. But biggest reason I got really fat is because of my eating habit. Actually unlike other people, i binge a lot. I eat huge amount of foods. And I love those foods that make people really fat. So it is not a surprise that i was like 70kg when I was young. But after middle school, I felt that it was serious, so I decided to lose weight. At that time I didn’t change my eating habit but I excersiced really hard. Then I lost weight succesfully. Sadly Since I came to Korea becuase of university, I drank freakinly for like whole year even 3 months I got in to school, I drank every day I swear this is true. The result was frustrating. After all the time, I didn’t get back to 70kg but I lost all my miscles which I built for several years with my effort. So I am doing excersing again it’s really hard but I know I should do it. Without any drinking.

Actually, I am not an active person. It is hard to see me doing an exercise. For people like me who do not want to do any exercises, diet therapy is the best way to keep us fit. There are several food that are known as diet food. Chicken breast, boiled egg, tomato, salad..etc are one of them. They contain low amount of fat and carbohydrate and high amount of protein and cellulose. Not only food but there is also a drink for diet therapy. We usually call it vegetable juice. It is a mixture of various kind of vegetables. Also it is called as detox juice which neutralize the body. So having these food and drink help me fit without doing any exercise.

I don’t put a lot of effort to keep fit but at least, I try to do a certain amount of push ups and sit-ups everyday. Since I don’t really care about my diet, i decided i need to do regular exercise to maintain physical ability and to keep fit. When I was in high school, i was in my school basketball team. I played basketball at least an hour every single day which had improved my stamina and physical ability. However, after graduation i tend to neglect playing sports and do exercise. To keep fit, I even registered health club in my apartment but it was actually a waste of money since i went there less than 5 times a month. So i decided to do a exercise for myself that at least help me to maintain my health.
I even joined a basketball club that my high school graduate friend made. We play basketball every sunday and have a game with other teams every 2 weeks. I haven’t played basketball that much since i graduated high school so i am a little left behind than my friends in basketball club. So i try to practice harder when i have time.
I think if you cannot control your diet, a regular exercise or playing sports as a hobby is necessary for to keep fit and also to have a healthy life.

I used to be thin. That was when I decided to exercise for my health
Actually I don`t like to exercise. But, I have a some special effort for my health.
For example, I do not smoke and drink little alcohol. Also, I was enrolled in a fitness club. and I excercise regularly. I have worked out four times a week with my personal trainer. Then, I eat some healthy tea, fresh fruit and vegetable every day for my health. Because I eat meat frequently. I think the most important things for health is to relieve stress. Stress can weaken your immune system and you may become sick.

Also I try to avoid high salt intake. Though I live alone, I try to grab vitamin. Therefore, I usually take vitamin from fruits.

I think it is little bit late to leave a comment, but I want to tell how I keep fit. Actually, I didn’t like exercising when I was young. Although I didn’t try to keep fit, I was so healthy. However, after entering University, I have realized that doing exercising is really essential for me. Since I have lived in the dormitory, it is natural to skip a meal, which makes aggravate my health. Thus, I was often sick and one of my friends recommended for me to keep fit by trying to do yoga and Taekwondo. Therefore, I have registered for Yoga academy and Taekwondo club in our university. Practicing yoga helps me to keep a well-shaped body and to improve my flexibility. Besides, by trying to do Taekwondo for two hours every day, I can improve endurance and strength. Especially, I like practicing kicking, which helps me lose weight. After I have tried to do exercise, many things are changed in my life. I don’t have to spend much money in visiting a hospital. In addition, I can overcome insomnia, because doing exercise haves me keep a sleeping routine. Consequently, I really want to recommend people who have similar problems with me to do exercise in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Mostly i keep fit by walking. I walk to school and back to home about 50 minutes. I tend to use stairs than waiting to use elevators. And in the weekends, i walk my dog about 1 hours. And sometimes if i need to clear my mind, i go walking in my town about 1 hour. other activities i do to keep fit include jogging, lifting, crunches. I jog when the weather is good and i feel like running because i have full of energy (which rarely happens) , and i lift 5 kg weight and do stomach crunches sometime. But, those are not daily activities. I do these exercises about 2 times in a month. So, i think i keep fit by walking mostly.

Frankly speaking, I feel I’m not very healthy. I’m getting exhausted quickly especially when climbing uphill because I’m weak physically. When I was young I suffered from asthma and now I have improved a lot. Anyway, therefore I started ‘yoga’ since last semester. It is really interesting and fits me well than I thought. I still sometimes do yoga and I think I have to do it more harder. I sincerely want to be a very healthy person. Ultimately, I want to live a long, healthy, and happy life. So I’ll do other exercises such as jogging and swimming as well as yoga.
