    The advantages of learning online

First, distance learning is more flexible with time than face-to-face learning. Face-to-face learning has a particular class time students must keep. Also, some students may feel difficulty following the course if the progress is too fast or slow. But through online, choosing class time is much freer and students can adjust the speed of the lecture for themselves. In addition, students can repeat the part they felt difficulty as many as we want.

Second, online learning is not limited by geography. Students can learn in any places if they have the proper technology for it. This is a very convenient factor compared to offline education where places are highly limited.

Third, students can choose the appropriate level or the suitable type of the lecture more freely online. There are so many types of lectures for the same subject(topic) with very diverse educators. Students can select the class they feel most comfortable with just a few clicks.

Learning something online has a lot of advantages in terms of time management, its tution fee, the quality of education, and the diversity of the subjects. First, by distance learning, we can use our studying time more flexibly. Everyone has their own schedules everyday, and they can always access to online education system before or after they finish their own work. Furthermore, their tuition fees are much cheaper than those in face-to-face learning. Most charged online courses are less expensive than typical university or academy courses. Even there are many free online courses on K-MOOC and Youtube. The another advantage that distance learning has is about their quality. You can learn physics from Stephen Hawking in online courses, without visiting Cambridge University.
In contrast, online courses also have limits in terms of access of technology, lack of interaction, and its flexibility itself. Basically, distance learning necessarily needs devices which can use the internet. Only by carrying these devices, we can really take advantage of online courses. Another problem is in lack of interaction. One of the most powerful advantages in face-to-face learning is that the students can easily communicate with each other, and the professor. Of course, distance learning can interact by the internet, but its effect is clearly limited, as they cannot get a response immediately. Lastly, its flexibility can be a disadvantage itself. Students can be easily distracted because online course is not mandatory. It doesn’t provide the proper environment to study, whereas face-to-face learning provides classroom. This is why the completion of the online course is remarkably low despite the advantages it has.

Learning something online has a lot of benefits in many aspects. First, since it is flexible with time, it can follow students’ own timetable. It makes students be able to deal with their heavy work and schedules. It also helps students to not miss the class if there is a special occasion. Furthermore, students can save time because distance learning is not limited by geography. They don’t have to spend much time to commute or get ready to go to school. Students can take courses through their smartphones wherever they are. In addition, most online courses can be replayed so that students can review a specific part of the lecture which they felt hard to understand.
On the other hand, distance learning has some disadvantages. For instance, it requires a high level of motivation to students. Because they study in their own space without supervision, it makes them difficult to focus on online courses. Moreover, studying online give students less opportunity to interact with the professor. This may cause difficulties to study because students can’t get immediate responses from the teacher about their questions. It can be a serious problem for the professor to understand learner’s specific needs. Interaction with peers is also less common while learning online. Therefore, students could lose chances to share information and opinions with peers in the same class. Because of these advantages and disadvantages, each student and professor has a different preference.

Learning something online has some benefits. First, it is flexible with time. Students can take a class depends on their own time schedule. It makes students to keep self-motivation. Because they easily can deal with their tasks or assignments. Second, it is not limited by geography. In case of face-to-face meeting, students should commute to school in weekdays. However, in distance learning, students take a class in their home, even their room. Because of it, they can save their time and use it efficiently. Third, students can take a class with proper level. In the face-to-face learning, it hard to meet each student’s level. So, someone could be hard to follow and others are not. But in the distance online learning, students choose the lecture which is meet to their level. Also, it could be replayed so they can easily understand.
In contrast, there are also some disadvantages in learning something online. First, if students do not have high level of motivation, they will get hard to focus on class. In distance learning, they study themselves as their will. There is no teacher and supervisor in their home. In short, distance learning require high level of self-motivation. Second, there is no interaction with others. Students cannot interact with teacher, professor and other students. It means, although they have some questions, they couldn’t get answers immediately.Because of this disadvantage lecturer in distance learning couldn’t know whether students understand or not.
In conclusion, because of these advantages and disadvantages there are someone who prefer distance learning and someone who prefer face-to-face learning at the same time

The online course has been one of the mainstream learning methods recently. However, distance learning seems to have a number of drawbacks in terms of social interaction, technology, motivation, and disabilities.
First, e-learning doesn’t provide regular interaction between the students. Many students develop their knowledge and thoughts by face-to-face discussion. This interaction becomes very enjoyable and helpful for most of the students. E-learning, however, has less opportunity to meet with other class members in the real world. Next, distance learning is heavily reliant on technology. In other words, those who are not able to access computers or television may not have the opportunity to learn. Sometimes learning devices need to be upgraded to be compatible with the version of course video. third, this way of learning requires high motivation. The online course provides flexibility and freedom, but this means learners get easily distracted by other things. Students have to be well-organized and self-disciplined to do well in the online track. Lastly, e-learning is very limited provision for the students with disabilities. Blind, deaf, and dumb learners are usually not able to learn through electronic devices unless the class provides appropriate help.
In conclusion, e-learning is somehow very effective studying material, but still has a number of limits. Lack of social interaction, technology dependence, distractions, and difficulty for disabled students are the main disadvantages of distance learning. However, this method would be more improved in the future so that many learners can learn without any inconvenience.

Let me introduce the advantages and disadvantages of online classes. The benefits of online learning are that you can study freely whenever and wherever you want. Also, you can choose your own instructors. If you don’t like lecturer’s teaching style while studying, you can change your lecturer by a few clicks. It is efficient in terms of time use because you can control the speed and time of lectures. It is easy to take notes because you can listen again the parts that you couldn’t hear. And you can take any number of classes you take. However online studying has also inconveniences. Being able to take classes in a convenient circumstance can make you difficult to keep the classroom atmosphere and easy to lose your concentration. Since we take classes on computers, tablets, and phones, they can make your eyes feel tired after watching the screen for a long time. Also, when you have a question while studying, the teacher cannot give you feedback right away. In terms of price, online classes vary in price from subject to site, but some sites offer free lecturers such as EBS, and some sites are quite expensive as packaged goods. Therefore, it is hard to say which classes are cheaper online or offline.

First of all, I’d like to speak based on my experience of distance learning. Most of high school students get private education for college entrance exams. And commercial private institutions such as Mega study and Etoos that lead them mainly record their Face-to-Face learning and distribute it for money. Their distance learnings are quite inexpensive compared to the Face-to-Face learnings they offer. Students who are financially burdened to take Face-to-Face learning, or live in remote areas, tend to take a distance learning. In other words, the biggest advantage of distance learning is its accessibility and cheaper price.

However, distance learning requires more concentration and responsibility than Face-to-Face learning. Because distance learning is mainly available with electronic devices such as computers and cell phones, it is more likely to be distracted by the them. Also, there are many students who give up after taking a few classes because of less motivation than Face-to-Face learning. Because no one motivates them, and they are the sole subject of motivation. Therefore, only students who are able to protect themselves from countless temptations can successfully learn something they want through the distance learning.

Of course, not only these private institutions but also public institutions such as EBS and universities offer various distance learning program. However, I think the advantages and disadvantages of the aforementioned distance learning are universal ones that can be applied on any platform.

There could be lots of advantages in online learning. More specifically, when talking about only English learning, one of the most major advantages would be Computer-mediated communication (CMC) could be possible.

A basic literacy instruction has been regarded as a fundamental component of public education for recent years. According to this, English education should be more ‘authentical’, which means learning by hearing, observing, speaking and writing through realistic experiences. In an EFL setting, however, it’s not easy for learners to have an opportunity for authentic language use. Additionally, opportunities to use English outside the classroom are also limited.

Nowadays, through CMC, learners can learn by using English for self-expression in real communication environment. Rapidly increasing opportunities for CMC in online learning, any students who want can get connected more easily with people all over the world. Students can learn by using English for self-expression in real communication environment.

    3 advantages of online courses

According to the Internet World Stats site, as of June 30, 2018, there are about 4.2 billion Internet users worldwide. This is more than half the world population. As the internet market developed, the internet education market has also grown a lot. For such a reason, I want to talk about the advantages that online courses give to students.

The first is the convenience of time and space. The learner of the online courses can watch the lecture at home comfortably regardless of place and time. They can also develop self-directed learning skills by setting up their own learning plans.

The second is the possibility of various choices. The courses of famous instructors, which are difficult to see in reality, can be watched through online. It is also possible to choose a diverse range courses that is interesting to you.

The third is the easing of the education gap. Online courses are relatively inexpensive than on-site courses and are easily accessible to students who are financially-strapped. Local students away from the capital, such as Seoul, can also enjoy quality lectures.

In summary, the benefits of online courses are that firstly, they are flexible with time and place, secondly, they can suit many types of students and lastly, they give the students equal education opportunities. Nowadays, as social polarization increases, it is necessary to consider ways to reduce the educational gap through systems such as online courses.

As the Internet develops, the use of Internet lectures is becoming more and more popular. As Internet lectures are popular, there are many advantages and disadvantages to them.
The most common advantage of internet lectures is that you can listen to lectures anytime, anywhere you want. Although offline classes are scheduled, internet lectures are flexible because they are not limited to time. It also provides a good environment for review. Once downloaded, lectures can be rotated back permanently before a fixed period of time, so we can study incomprehensible parts again and again. You can also control the speed of the lecture at your disposal. For example, classes that are time-consuming or already known can be played and listened to quickly at twice the rate.
On the other hands, it also has some disadvantages. It requires a high level of motivation, which means that if the willingness to take classes is weak, internet lectures are useless. Also, if you have any questions during the lecture, you cannot ask right away. Although there are Q&A message boards, it is hard to hear answers right away.
Looking at these advantages and disadvantages of Internet lectures, Internet lectures are likely to be appropriate for students who can make and keep their plans to the fullest.

There are lots of advantages when we use online class rather than the face-to-face class. It is more diverse, cheaper and more flexible concerning to time and geography than the face to face education system. Among the lots of advantages, there are 3 typical advantages of online course.

First, distant learning system has no limitation of time. We can access to the class anywhere and anytime if we can access the internet. Also, we can repeat or play back and forth the lecture if you don’t understand. And We can control the speed where you want such as twice or on half if you want the lecture faster or slower.

Secondly, online courses are usually cheaper than the face-to-face course. Some of the online courses are free. However, varying from one case to another, most of face to face courses are expensive. And, in extreme cases, sometimes the face to face courses cost above 1000$.

Last, we can choose the lecture for the appropriate level in distant education system. Mostly, they divided the levels such as basic, intermediate, and advanced in online courses. So, students can choose the right level of classes that they can understand easily or achieve the goal fast. However, in face to face classes, especially one to many classes, teacher can not fix only one student for teaching, so the class can be hard for some students.

As internet and mobile technology has advanced, we can easily get access to learn online. But there are some disadvantages of learing something in any way such as Youtube or online college. First of all, there is limit of practical training. For example, when we get to learn how to swimming online, we can only watch a tutor swimming and listen what the tutor says about how to swing arms and kick legs. Watching and Listening are not enough to acquire skills of swimming. We have to do actual practice in pool and get feedback about our posture immediately from the tutor. But through the online lecture, we cannot learn like swimming or baking whitout practical work nor get feedack immediately abour what we did wrong. Also, when we learn something in first, we might make a lots of mistakes and have many questions about it. But it is difficult to get a instatnt answer or comments on the spot. Finally, opportunies to get a wide relationship with someone might become diminished. We can become intimate with a tutor or classmates when we take a lecture face-to-face while we meet periodically and have conversation or share information. But online lecture could’t let us know each other generally.

Nowadays, distance learning courses, which are heavily reliant on technology, have various positive aspects. Representatively, three factors will be described in this essay.
To begin with, flexibility, not limited to time or space, is one of the significant advantages of online courses. Unlike offline courses, distance learning lectures are not set to specific days or area of places. For example, because of the adjustability, most university students regard to distance learning lecture as an efficient way to study their majors while furthering their extracurricular activities. Students can spend their time interacting with others, practice self-improvement or participate in club activities, instead of only devoting a great deal of time to their lectures.
Furthermore, students can understand the lectures at their own pace. Each person needs different time and methods to accept certain things. Distance learning courses and face to face learning courses are different in that whether one can stop the lectures or not. For instance, online lectures can be stopped by the student at any time, if one does not understand; however, offline courses hardly pause lectures even if one does not comprehend the content of the course. Thus, being taught by distance learning courses can facilitate students in acquiring information.
At last, it provides students with high-quality lectures that are relatively cheap, which are hardly found offline. Many famous instructors and professors who require an expensive fee are easily found on the Internet. After the advance of technology, many people were able to afford their preferred lessons online. Typically, seniors in Korean high schools sign up for online courses, because of the good value and price. With a reasonable price, one can learn from teachers who are certified as an expert in that specific subject. It gives students a more equal opportunity in education than before.
In conclusion, after scientific development on the Internet, online courses are broadly used and they show a variety of advantages. In the future, it will be more advanced and make education more accessible to the people.

    Advantages of distance learning

I would like to explain about distance learnig. There are three specific reasons why it gives students advantages.

First, students who take a class online can manage their their time as they wish. They don’t need to care about compulsory schedule. Students may actually get up late if they take only online lectures in a day.

Second, distance learning requires a high level of motivation. Online lectures give students daily goals to reach. Students have to study or to do their homeworks and it motivates them.

Finally, students can immediately look for informations on the internet if they did not understant something from the class .

In sum, a lot of students take online classes at the moment thnaks to technological advances. Technological advances will help students through distance learning since it gives them time flexibility, motivation, and an easier access to informations.

Online learning is a way of studying remotely without being in regular face-to-face contact with a teacher in the classroom. Nowadays, the online learning method that supports flexibility for learners has got much attention because it has ensured in breaking down barriers and borders, giving everyone an equal chance to have access to education. Online learning is also called distance learning due to no locational restrictions. It could be that education may unequally be distributed across regional differences. In fact, the academic gap between rural and urban students can be considerable. However, the online learning is open to everyone without any discrimination, so educational equality is able to be realized.
